The Freak Show 1955

Under the big top life’s never really what it seems.

Never truly understanding La Treque’s strengths as an actress, Mitsumount cast her in this film as a psychic working under the big tent alongside an array of stereotypical circus acts. When a big city reporter who has been let go from his staff position starts sniffing around things start to get really freakish. With years of perfecting the femme fatale death stare La Treque does not entirely fail in the role but the film itself is insufferable. The box office punished Mitsumount for its cliches and poor taste.
